What’s Up in middle schools
It all begins with an idea.
Our dream of expanding What’s Up Wellness to middle schools is now a reality. Having been providing our services in high schools for over a decade, we are acutely aware that many of the challenges youth face in high school often begin when they were in middle school. Nevada County Behavioral Health and the Mental Health Services Act is now providing What’s Up Wellness the funding to begin screening 7th graders at Lyman Gilmore Middle School this fall. We are excited to meet with these younger students - more prevention, more hope!
