What’s Up Wellness Trainings

Helping you to help others.

What's Up Wellness staff are certified Mental Health First Aid trainers for Nevada County. We are available to provide trainings at your community site in both Youth and Adult versions of Mental Health First Aid. We are also certified to facilitate Teen Mental Health First Aid classes (TMHFA) for 10th-12th graders in Nevada County high schools. MHFA is an evidence based early intervention program supporting communities in identifying, understanding and responding to support those living with mental health challenges.

Adults Supporting Young People

As adults, we are here to protect and support the young people in our lives. We offer trainings to adults in Youth Mental Health First Aid to know how to give assistance to teens struggling with mental health challenges or crises.

Being a safe, trusted support person for the teenagers in our lives is crucial.

Adults Supporting Adults

Mental Health First Aid is needed not only for young people struggling, but also for the adults in our lives that struggle with their mental health. It is empowering to know what to do when faced with another adult who is in the midst of a mental health challenge or crisis. Come learn how.

Mental Health First Aid can change lives.

Teens Supporting Teens

Teenagers and young people often turn to each other for emotional support, guidance, and direction. We offer Teen Mental Health First Aid classes to youth, empowering them to support each other with practices and resources to get the help they need.

We believe in giving our teenagers the tools they need to support each other
